With over 30 years of experience in the visual arts across Canada and the United States, Darryl LeBlanc is a seasoned professional who has excelled in a variety of roles, including director of photography, director, editor, colorist, and still photographer. He is also an accomplished media artist with expertise in graphic design, animation, video production, 3D modeling, and post-production effects, utilizing cutting-edge industry software.

Darryl studied Design at George Brown College in Toronto and holds dual degrees in Film and Fine Art from NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

For more than a decade, he has been a key contributor to video projects across Canada for the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, creating impactful content that brings Canada’s immigrant stories to life. His extensive career also includes work on award-winning documentaries, feature films, television series, music videos, as well as corporate and commercial projects.

Darryl has collaborated on a variety of high-profile projects for major organizations, including CBC, TellTale Productions, and RPM.

Expanding into the video-on-demand space, Darryl founded Kinokatzen Productions, a qualified CAVCO broadcaster production company. Through this initiative, he launched CinemaCats.TV, a new FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel dedicated to providing a platform for independent filmmakers. The channel is committed to showcasing diverse and innovative voices, offering filmmakers an opportunity to share their unique stories with a global audience. Additionally, Kinokatzen Productions has partnered with Purpledoor Productions to contribute to the Trailer Park Boys Swearnet channel, further demonstrating his versatility and creativity across diverse media platforms.
